ICD Bestows Honorary Fellowship on SRM ChancellorChennai

23rd Feb 2025 : The International College of Dentistry (ICD) Section VI (India, Sri Lanka & Nepal) has conferred the prestigious Honorary Fellowship upon Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar, Founder Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). This distinguished fellowship was presented to Dr. Paarivendhar, a distinction rarely bestowed upon non-dentists/non-medical. This honour recognises his contribution to the fields of education and healthcare delivery.Dr. Paarivendhar was recognised for his exceptional contributions to both fields during ICD’s annual meeting and convocation, held at SRMIST in Kattankulathur, in collaboration with SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and HospitalThe Honorary Fellowship was presented by ICD’s Global President, Dr. Ian M. Doyle, and ICD Section VI President, Dr. Meera Verma, among other distinguished guests.In his acceptance speech, Dr. Paarivendhar highlighted the unique importance of dentistry, stating that it plays a vital role in helping individuals walk upright, speak clearly, and laugh with confidence.
