Chennai, 2nd March 2025 – The Second edition of the Sci-Edu Awards 2025, hosted by ARPR Events, was held today at the Tamil Virtual Academy Auditorium, Chennai. The event celebrated and honoured the outstanding contributions of educators, teachers, professors, and scholars in the field of science education across India.
The highlight of the event was the recognition of 54 outstanding educators selected by an esteemed jury panel from over 400 entries received nationwide. These awardees, representing the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Scientific Technology, were celebrated for their unwavering dedication to fostering a scientific temperament among students and shaping the future of science education in India.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. P. Sasikumar, Scientist from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO, Trivandrum, as the Chief Guest, and presided over by Prof. Dr. S. Vincent, Member Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, DOTE Campus, Chennai. The Guest of Honour included Prof. Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram, Director, Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University, Chennai; Dr. Suresh A. Shan, Chairman-CSI, Mumbai Chapter, and Advisor-Professional Bodies (AICTE, New Delhi); and Prof. A. Mohamed Abdul Kadhar, Educationalist, Writer, and Advisor-AMS College of Engineering, Chennai. Mr. R. Muthu Kumar, Editor, Makkal Kural delivered the Vote of Thanks
