SRM Global Hospitals Inks Pact with Global Doctors to Treat Patients from Malaysia, Asia Pacific
SRM Global Hospitals will provide treatment for patients from Malaysia and other Asia Pacific countries in various specialties in Chennai, following an MoU the hospital signed today with Global Doctors - Malaysia, part of the Global Doctors Alliance, which represents a growing network of affiliated medical centers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Turkey and China.
As per the agreement, SRM Global Hospitals will also provide teleconsultations to patients of Global Doctors and share clinical knowledge with their healthcare professionals. The hospital is expected to get patients and medical tourists of Global Doctors mainly for treatments in specialties like cardiology, cardiothoracic, neurology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Dato' Dr Sharifah Fauziah Alhabshi, Executive Chairman, Dr Navindra Nageswaran, Medical & Managing Director, Ms. Suhaila Mohd Kassim, COO & DON, Ms. Nagiah Alidrus, Top Glove Global Doctors Medical Centre, Malaysia, Manager, and Mr. Mohamed Sahriff - Director of Medical & Business Development, Global Doctors.
