This state-of-the-art computer lab, powered entirely by solar energy, stands as a testament to the power of collaborative efforts in empowering women graduates with essential digital literacy, paving the way for a brighter future.

The Temenos Excellence Hub is equipped with the latest in computing technology and software, designed to provide students with unparalleled access to digital resources. The Excellence Hub will promote sustainability by reducing its carbon footprint by adhering to solar power as an alternative for clean and renewable energy option that contributes to environmental conservation.

The Temenos Excellence Hub will be officially handed over by Temenos CEO, Mr. Jean Pierre Brulard, Kalliopi Chioti (Chief marketing & ESG officer), Ganesan Sriraman (EVP and global head of Product engineering) and Bijumon Jacob (Head of Operations – India) from Temenos. Together, we look forward to empowering more individuals through such initiatives in the future.

The solar panels on the Temenos Excellence hub’s roof generate clean energy, making it not only a beacon of inclusivity but also a model for eco-friendly initiatives. Temenos, commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, has enabled them to provide a 20 kW solar energy solution for the Excellence Hub at Presidency College. By harnessing renewable solar energy, the Excellence Hub can ensure uninterrupted power supply, benefiting the students. The provision of a 20 kW on grid solar solution for the college benefits sustainability, cost savings, inclusivity, reliability, educational advancement, and the broader community.
