Rotary International District 3234 is proud to announce the organization of a Cycle Rally to End Polio Now and No to Drugs. The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of a polio-free world and the dangers of drug abuse, particularly among the younger generation.
In line with Rotary’s commitment to promoting public health and community service, this initiative seeks to educate the public about the risks associated with polio and drug abuse. India has made significant progress in eradicating polio, but neighboring countries still report cases. Moreover, the menace of drug abuse poses a significant threat to the nation’s youth.
The cycle rally will be flagged off by District Governor AKS Vinod Sarogi and will feature the participation of local Rotary clubs, Annettes, and sponsors. We are honored to have DRFC Rtn. B. Dakshayani, PhD, Head of Institutional Sales at Avon Cycles Ltd and Past President of Rotary Club of Meenambakkam, as our Chief Guest for the second consecutive year.
The event is supported by various partners, including:
– Bicycle Partners: Avon Cycles Ltd
– T-Shirt and Caps Sponsor: Go Colors Company
– Other sponsors: Rotary Club of Ambattur, Rotary Club of Central, and more
