Kandaru Mohanaru Thanthiri and Brahmashri. Mahesh Thanthiri. The event is also graced by the members of the Royal Pandalam Family.

To top this all, the celebrations include a 100-member ensemble of Chenda Melam percussionists. This is a rare sight to behold as a performance of this scale happens only in famous events like Kerala’s “Thrissur Pooram”.

The Madipakkam Sri Ayyappan Temple is the first temple after Sabarimala to have Lord Sri Ayyappan seated on top of the Holy 18 steps with the consecration done by the Sabarimala Thanthri family from Thazhamon Madom and the daily poojas performed in Tantric methods. Devotees know the temple as Uthara Sabari Girisham.
