The UAE Journalists Association (UAEJA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Researchers Center for Research and Studies to strengthen cooperation in research, knowledge exchange, and media development.

A delegation from the Emirates Researchers Center visited the UAEJA headquarters in Dubai, touring its facilities, including the Media Creativity Center, Training Center, and the 100-seat theatre, and learning about the association’s professional and media activities.

The MoU aims to support media research and studies, organize specialized training programs and workshops, and exchange knowledge content to enhance professional journalistic performance.

The agreement was signed by Fadila Al-Muaini Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the UAE Journalists Association, and Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Secretary-General and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Researchers Center for Research and Studies.

Al-Muaini said the partnership reflects the association’s commitment to integrating journalism with scientific research and strengthening knowledge-based media content. She also emphasized the importance of building research and analytical skills among journalists to keep pace with changes in the media landscape.

Dr. Fawaz Habbal welcomed the cooperation, describing the MoU as a strategic step toward employing scientific research in support of journalistic work and producing credible, research-based content.

Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination to ensure effective implementation of the agreement and to support the development of media and scientific research in the UAE.
