ஒன் மேன் (One Man) Movie Review
A brief review of the film ‘One Man’, directed and acted by Sangaki Rajkumar, who has created more than 70 film crafts as a single person.Four friends accidentally visit an abandoned chemical laboratory. There, an unfortunate incident occurs that threatens humanity. One of them thinks selfishly, while the others fight to stop it. What happens next is the remaining story.
Impressive individual effort: It is a huge achievement for a single person to work on an entire film for 5-6 years, including direction, acting, cinematography, editing, dubbing, VFX, AI, 3D modeling, and music.Innovative effort: It is amazing that the same person has played various roles and even made the theater crowd scenes possible through miniatures/graphics.Lesson for cinema lovers: This film is a great example of what one can do with a low budget.
Negatives of the film: Screenplay & Naturalness: The story and screenplay are not as impressive as typical commercial films. Technical Quality (VFX): The graphics are lacking here and there, unable to match the VFX quality of a budget film made by a large team.
Verdict
If viewed as an ordinary film, some flaws may be apparent. But, when viewed from the perspective of “a single man’s incredible cinematic passion and hard work”, ‘One Man’ is a commendable effort!

6 Years of Work: It took him about 6 years to complete the film.
70+ Departments: While it is believed that there are only 24 crafts in cinema, he has single-handedly handled more than 70 sub-departments such as makeup, costume design, lighting, camera, 3D modeling, VFX, AI, dubbing, editing, and background music.
The same person in all the roles: He has played the villain in all the roles, including 20 main characters and more than 500 supporting roles in the film
Stress & Recovery Story: After 80% of the shooting was completed, he stopped working for some time due to severe depression caused by one person doing the work that should have been done by 500 people. It was during that break that he finished shooting the film ‘Bioscope’ to change his mind and came back with new energy and completed the film ‘One Man’.
It is considered a significant achievement in the history of the film industry to have completed all the technical work for an entire film by a single person.
